Volunteers and Youth Unite
The second group of ILA's 2025 volunteer lifeguards recently participated in a special community engagement activity alongside children from CONAMYPE.
The event provided an opportunity for volunteers and young participants to connect through educational and recreational activities designed to promote teamwork, leadership, and community involvement. Throughout the day, the volunteers shared their experiences, encouraged positive values, and helped create a fun and welcoming environment for the children.
As part of ILA's commitment to community outreach, the activity highlighted the importance of service, mentorship, and building meaningful connections beyond the beach.
The experience was rewarding for both the volunteers and the children, demonstrating how collaboration and engagement can create lasting positive impacts within the community.
